Sr. Merceditas Ang, SPC, led the administrators of Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃin welcoming the top officials of California Metropolitan University (CMU, USA) on May 20, 2024. Dr. Alan Tan (President, CMU) and Dr. Jose Mari Melad (Strategic Partnership and Global Communications Officer, CMU) visited the University for the formalization of the collaborative engagement between the two institutions.
After the preliminary meeting, the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was held. Sr. Merceditas Ang, SPC (President, SPUP) and Dr. Alan Tan (President, CMU) signed the document. Dr. Agripina Maribbay (Vice President for Academics) together with Dr. Melad served as witnesses. Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃDirectors, Deans and Program Coordinators graced the event. Contained in the partnership document were the thrusts of the two institutions: enhancement of the delivery of educational services and the offering of joint programs. The visit culminated in a tour at the Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃCultural Heritage Center.
